The Quietus anthology is a brilliant portrayal of a new and thrilling, yet overwhelming, digital world of music that most of us are still trying our hardest to navigate through. Point Close All Quotes: A Quietus Anthology eBook was designed to enhance the hyper detailed, hilarious and grotesque images from illustrator, Krent Able and beautifully written words from some of the most esteemed music journalists.

As lead designer I collaborated with key stakeholders to develop the look and feel for the eBook contents, cover and online marketing.

We worked on several iterations of the book cover design before we landed on the inspiration of dazzle ships from World War I which suited the title, a sentence which marked the end of a verbal report from journalist to editor.

The design needed to be robust enough to let the words do the talking but also stand out and sell as a series for The Quietus.

With this is mind the central text pages were set for all Kindle eReaders to give the user the most immersive literary experience and suprise them with the unexpected imagery.
